Located in Detroit’s Cultural Center Historic District in Midtown, the DIA is one of the largest museums in the county spanning 658,000 square feet. The museum features many free weekly events for families and has rotating special exhibits on showcase.

Admission

Free for residents of Wayne, Macomb and Oakland  Counties. However, donations are welcome to help  support the museum.

Interactive Level

Low, as there is not a lot to touch, however there are some activities depending on the day and time. The museum offers events such as Drop-In Workshops and Drawing in the Galleries.
